相似度門檻喺邊度？
科大各課程要求不一：一般功課常以 15–20% 為參考，FYP 與研究論文可能更嚴格，以 Course Outline 與導師指示為準。
呢份係 Assignment 定 FYP？
科大 4 學期制節奏快，Assignment、Lab Report 與 FYP 的作業匣設定不盡相同；草稿匣與正式提交匣是否入庫，要逐個確認。
自查會不會入庫？
用私人 No Repository 服務自查不留痕跡，之後經 Canvas 正式提交不會出現「自己比對到自己」。

登入 HKUST Canvas，進入課程的 Turnitin Assignment，留意 Deadline 與可重交次數。

依指示上載 Word／PDF 定稿；Lab Report 通常另有圖表、數據附錄與封面格式要求。

查看報告
如導師開放權限，你可查看 Similarity 與 AI 報告；若未開放，通常只看到分數或完全看不到。

修改後重交
科大作業密集，建議在截止前預留時間改寫並複測，不要留到最後一刻才處理。

先看 Match Overview
逐項確認是哪一段被標紅、來源是什麼，判斷是「引用不當」還是「整段複製」。
確認 Exclude
Lab Report 的方法段落常與課堂材料相近，先確認 Bibliography 與引號內引用可否排除，並與導師溝通。
英語寫作要真改寫
科大作業多為英語書寫，只換同義詞不足以降低 Similarity，應重整句式與論述順序。
按學院核對引用格式
工學院常用 IEEE、商學院常用 APA，格式錯誤會令 Reference List 整段標紅。

常見問題
AI 分數高會唔會影響成績？Will a high AI Score affect my grade?
AI Detector 只是估算，學校是否採用、如何計入評核由各課程決定。被標記時可保留草稿與筆記作說明，切勿直接刪改證據。
The AI detector gives an estimate, and whether the university adopts it or counts it towards grading is decided course by course. If you are flagged, keep your drafts and notes as evidence, and never delete or alter them.
重交有次數限制嗎？Is there a limit on the number of resubmissions?
視乎作業匣設定，有些課程限制重交次數或只取最後一版。因此「交之前先自查」比「交完再改」更保險。
Depending on the submission box settings, some courses cap the number of attempts or keep only the most recent version. Checking before you submit is safer than repairing things afterwards.
Lab Report 相似度幾高先算合理？What similarity level is reasonable for a Lab Report?
Lab Report 的方法與公式段落本就同課堂材料相近，容易推高 Similarity。先設定好可排除部分，再改寫重複句子，並保留實驗紀錄以備說明。
Methods and formula sections naturally resemble course materials, which pushes similarity up. Set the exclusions first, rewrite duplicated sentences, and keep your lab records in case you need to explain them.
